These are fun for something different and kids will like helping form the bowls out of the tortilla shells.
8 inch flour tortilla shells (The original recipe calls for 6 inch, but I could only find corn tortillas that size. The 8 inch worked fine I thought.)
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. salsa
shredded cheese
shredded lettuce
chopped tomatoes
ranch dressing
Warm tortillas in microwave and arrange in muffin tins to form small bowls. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes until the tortillas will hold a bowl shape. Brown hamburger and drain. Add salsa to the hamburger and heat until warmed. Spoon hamburger mixture into the bowls and top with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing.
(An alternative would be to omit the salsa, add taco seasoning to the hamburger, and use sour cream instead of ranch dressing.)
